Hari-Kul-Esh Well ,the exact interpretation of the above stated word is "Descendant of Lord Vishnu ". Let us keep this aside for a moment and get back to it when we needed. During the time of Kurukshetra war, Lord Krishna was by the side of Pandavas and 10,000 most powerful Yadava warriors were by the side of Kauravas. When Duryodhana and Arjuna came to entreat help from Lord Krishna, he asked them to chose between him and 10,000 equivalently powerful warriors.He even said he shall not take part in violence but would give any suggestions if needed.This is when Duryodhana chose 10,000 warriors and Arjuna chose Krishna.
