The Seven Immortals

अश्वत्थामा बलिव्र्यासो हनूमांश्च विभीषण:।  कृप: परशुरामश्च सप्तएतै चिरजीविन:॥ According to Hindu Mythology,there are seven immortals namely  Ashwaddhama, Bali, Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishana, Krupacharya, Parashurama. When we closely observe and validate the credibility of the above stanza, we'll find an interesting and intriguing definition that was buried deeply inside it. The seven immortals(Chranjivis) resemble the seven attributes of man,which as long as they live will exist. 1)Ashwaddhama- He was the son of Drona and described as a mighty warrior and one of eleven Rudras.He was born with a gem on his forehead and possess complete mastery over 64 forms of art.Though he was a great personality,he murdered the sons of Pandavas in a fury while they were sleeping. According to our ancient texts,God is the one who is fully replete with the six opulence s namely Strength, Fame, Wealth, Knowledge,Beauty and Renunciation. God is described as omnipotent,omniscient,omnipresent and also held to be incorporeal and to be without gender,yet many religions describe and worship God in a material form by conferring a masculine gender. He is the reservoir of all auspicious qualities and is the ultimate goal for all Yogis and whoever delight in his inconceivable past times.They believe that whenever and wherever there is a decline n religious practice and a predominant rise of irreligion,He descends Himself to deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants as well as to re-establish the principles of religion.
